Neverending Dreams

To see a world in a grain of sand, and a heaven in a wild flower. Hold infinity in the palm of your hand, and eternity in an hour.
#oh fuck how do I behave now #am I being annoying #they will never want to see me again

Ok, so I figured that perhaps not everyone is aware that this is available to use now, especially the younger folk out there.

This is OraQuick, and it is an FDA-Approved, in-home HIV test that provides results in about 20 minutes. I’m not sure about the availabilty of this product (or similar ones) in other countries, but in the U.S. you can purchase these at Walgreens for a mere 35 bucks, and you can even have them delivered to your door for complete anonymity.

Reading the results is easy. One line you are negative, two lines you are positive.

Why is this important? Well I know for a fact that a lot of guys say they are HIV negative without really getting tested, or they base that on some really old test result. There is no excuse now. You can get this in the mail if you want, and know for sure in the comfort and privacy of your own home. Its good peace of mind. And if you meet someone new and you are planning on playing around, its an easy and cheap thing to do to know where you guys stand. It builds trust right off the bat. Being safe is not just about wearing a condom. Its a combination of many things like trust, knowing the person, closeness, and being a good judge of character. Now on top of that you can keep up with your HIV status on a regular basis. :)

This is important for people to know, I never knew it existed

This is how my boyfriend and I tested before we started bareback in together after being with each other for 3 months. It’s super easy.

I know that it’s scary, believe me, I don’t practice risky behaviors and my anxiety was through the roof. It’s so important though you guys.

They even give you a non-descript bag to dispose of everything in.

I’m glad this is going around. :) Spread the word.

It’s also important to note that this is an oral swab test, so there’s no need to fear if you’re scared of needles! Know your status. Stay safe.

If you are not hearing the soundtrack of that precise moment loud and clear in your head, you need to re-watch it because you’ve clearly been doing it wrong.

NBC Is Straight-Washing Constantine

I’m not normally one to be a rabble-rouser, particularly on the internet.

But I really think the fandom forces of tumblr should collectively spam NBC about Constantine, and recent disclosure that they are straight-washing his character. (He’s canonically bisexual in the comics)

If there is one thing fandom can collectively agree upon, there aren’t enough queer people in mainstream media. NBC is making an adaptation with an ALREADY QUEER CHARACTER, and making him straight. Bisexual men are a particularly under-represented demographic, and this is frankly the height of fucked up.

The good thing is, fandom can perhaps nip this problem in the bud. Although the show has been officially picked up by NBC, it is still very much in development. If we — the active fans of the world — collectively threaten to boycott before the show airs in October, we might have a good chance of forcing a creative shift.

So get in touch with NBC and make a complaint.

And please reblog this post. Spread the word. If anything is worthy of fandoms collective ire and criticism, it is this.

I was afraid this would happen. =___=

La Pascualita

Urban Legend

This mannequin has been in a store window in Chihuahua, Mexico for the past 75 years. Pascualita also has a very unique urban legend behind her. Many believe that she is not a mannequin, but the perfectly preserved corpse of the previous owner’s daughter.

Sonia Burciaga, a shop worker says, “Every time I go near Pascualita my hands break out in a sweat. Her hands are very realistic and she even has varicose veins on her legs. I believe she’s a real person.”

Other stories include Pascualita chaning positions on her own, her eyes following you around and the usual superstitions that come with haunted maannequins.

This needs to be in the next Supernatural season.

So someone swapped in the Attack on Titan theme on the opening for Sailor Moon Crystal and this was the result.

Holy shit

do most anime openings got like a pacing system going on? cuz when I was in the 10th grade I tried swapping the 2nd Naruto opening with the OP music from at least 6 different animes and every single one of them worked flawlessly

they actually do, they’re very formulaic.
